Loading & Stores Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Loading & Stores Administrator at the Port of Tilbury.
Based within the Grain Terminal Asset at the Port of Tilbury, you will be primarily responsible for the booking in and out of lorries that arrive on site daily to collect bulk grain.
You will also be entering delivery orders onto the system against specific customer requirements and ensuring that customers’ stock levels are accurate at all times along with the need to produce reports from the system as and when required.
You will also assist with the monthly stores reconciliation to ensure the correct levels of spare parts and consumables are on hand to keep the site operational.
This role will involve the use of our stock keeping system and therefore computer literacy is essential along with an eye for detail and most importantly a high degree of accuracy when inputting data.
As part of a busy operational team, some manual handling and driving of mechanical handling equipment should be expected when necessary, therefore a current driving licence is essential.
The lorry loading operation runs from 07:00 to 17:00 and the successful candidate will be expected to work an 8 hour shift between these times and to cover any gaps with overtime as and when required.
You will need to be highly motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work.
The role will also require excellent communication skills, customer focus and be able to apply Company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
